Travel to Amsterdam and a few beers with Adrian

Flew from London Heathrow around 1300hrs. Was a really short smooth flight. Before hand I went and checked out some bridge cameras in Dixons. I don't think I'll bother with upgrading. There just doesn't seem to be too much point. After that I had a bit of breakfast. A nice little coffee and muffin. Bloody expensive though as always. Shot some more pictures of the

It was one smooth journey. I got to Amsterdam around 3pm and went straight to the hotel.

I then hung there for a bit and just waited for Adrian to finish his event. we mt up and went for a pizza in a nice little restaurant. He moaned a bit about stuff like he does, but was a top conversation. We then moved on to have a few more beers and a coffee before calling it a night. Was a biit of a long and mad day all in all. I don't think I'll be up for quite so much again. Hey ho was fun while it lasted.

Shot this bunch at sunset with the trusty SX40.

Sunset at Eelmoor bridge

It was a stunning sunset up at the bridge. It's amazing how much the sun has moved south across the nights sky. Only just now is the sun setting above the canal. Always a great place for a sunset shot, but it works well in September.

Sunset on the canal

Another trip up to the bridge for sunset. Love it up here. Ate a bit late, so didn't quite catch the sunset. Was pretty peaceful though.

Bath Racecourse and the The Wurzels

We were invited by friends to go to bath races. I don't tend to bet on horses (or much else for that matter). It was a fun day out. Super lucky with the weather. Won a few quid (think we were £4 up at the end of the day). Lots of beer, lots of fun and some good live music at the end.

The Wurzels performed in the evening. They put on a pretty fun show. It was the first time I've seen them. Would 100pc recommend, a good fun live band. They didn't play a long set, perhaps 1 hour, but that was good enough for me.

After that we all piled back in a bus that took us to Bath station, then back to the Air Bn B. A really nice day
