Surfing Baleal again Trip to the airport and home

Up at 8am for a but of breakfast. Then filled in all the passenger locator rubbish. Hit the beach and had a decent surf. 

Saw an absolutely mint range rover on the way out. 

Back at the beach. This looks like an incredible place to park up.

Coffee, dropped the boards off

Decided we'd had enough surf and decided to check out and go for a road trip down south. 

Went for a road trip down Ericiera 

Lovely little road trip down the coast.

First stop was  Praia de Santa Rita Norte. This was a beautiful beach. 

What a place to surf this is! Praia de Santa Rit. 

Prefect little spot. Hardly anyone out. Great waves, easy access to the beach. 

Ribeira d'Ilhas, Ericeira

This statue represents a surfer. It's located in a viewpoint to the beach of Ribeira d'Ilhas, a place well known amongst the worldwide community of surfers.

It's a homage to the generation of surfers who grew up on these waves and an appeal for the preservation of the oceans and the environment.

What a place to surf, it wraps round the point beautifully. Not that busy for a Saturday.

Little circular drive around Peniche

Wonderful coastline l, reminded me a bit of the great ocean road. Not that I've been there. Or Big Sur

Went for a surf in the afternoon. 

Was pretty blown out and choppy and absolutely rammed! Still had a couple of good waves though! 

Back to the Ride Spa for pub games. Decent Octopus for dinner

Was absolutely delicious!!!

Arriving in Baleal

Took about 1 hour to travel from Lisbon. The traffic wasn't great as there was a metro strike. Rented a pretty decent car, and arrived in town around 9.15. Checked in and got out to a restaurant for a bit of grub. Staying a t a pretty cool resort. Very Pop Art inspired. Nicely done out to be fair and only 50 euros a night. So far pretty excited by this place! 

Decent hotel with bunk beds, could get a crowd in here! 

Took a while to get a rental car. They need to streamline this experience.

Fish and Squid Skewers were amazing. 

So far, pretty happy to be here! It's going to be a lot of fun!!!

Day four Websummit

Didn't sleep great. Last day of the summit. Ready to call it a day now.
